umbra brackets

background

How do you connect a window rod to a wall? By using a bracket of course!

Window rods usually come with brackets that are cheap and flimsy pieces of sheet metal that purely serve a utilitarian purpose. These pieces of hardware are overlooked and never meant to be shown…

That is until I re-thought what a bracket could be! These are more than just decorative finials. They’re functional too!

Ringlet Rod

The ringlet rod is different than a traditional curtain rod. On most curtain rods, the finial is the decorative part but you still have to hang the very utilitarian-looking bracket. On this system, everything has been considered and designed specifically to not to be hidden.

Made of steel, this curtain rod is durable while remaining attractive in design. Includes all necessary mounting hardware for an easy installation.

Midnight rod

A decorative blackout solution

Midnight features an innovative wrap-around design which helps prevent light leakage. Allowing your curtain or drapery panel to rest directly against the wall, wrap the panel around the curved end of the rod and tuck it behind the bracket to eliminate exterior light from seeping in.

Curtain pinched against wall = blackout

Curtain not touching wall = not blackout
